History
The
Carefree Institute was established in 1986 to develop, market
and manage a personality assessment methodology to businesses,
educational institutions and government agencies.
Robert Horton began collaborating with experts in
various disciplines approximately 25 years ago to develop the
current InnerViewing method and accompanying InnerView
Survey and InnerView Professional Profile. The method
and the instrument have evolved over time as a result of acquired
research in the fields of psychology, human resource and business
management, experiential learning and applied technology.
Since the early 1990's, technological advancement
and other pervasive business environment changes have increased
the market demand for personnel assessment tools and services.
